How to say it in Hebrew
Tip #18

In October I'll be travelling to Japan!!! So I wanted to say "I am sooo excited"
So, how do I say "so" in Hebrew? ;)

"So" in Hebrew

First, as you've probably noticed in my previous sentence - in English there are two "so"s - the introductory one, to start the sentence:
"So, what am I saying..."
In this case I'd use אז In Hebrew
אָז מָה אֲנִי אוֹמֶרֶת...

"So" that strengthens the meaning is "כָּל כָּךְ"
Like in the song - היא כֹּל כָּךְ יָפֶה...
(She is so beautiful)
Or this - מָה כָּל כָּךְ קָשֶׁה בָּזָה?
What's so difficult about it?
And in the sentences I wanted to say above - אֲנִי כָּל כָּךְ מִתְלַהֶבֶת!
(I am so excited!)

But we also can say...
"...I love you so much!"
!אֲנִי אוֹהֶבֶת אוֹתְךָ כָּל כָּךְ
Here, in English we say not just "so" but "so much" - which makes no difference in terms of Hebrew!

However...
If I want to say "I have so manyquestions!" In this case we say in Hebrew
.יֵשׁ לִי כָּל כָּךְ הַרְבֵּה שְׁאֵלוֹת

More examples:
יֵשׁ לִי כָּל כָּךְ הַרְבֵּה דְּבָרִים לַסֵּפֶר לְךָ
(I have so many things to tell you)
רָאִיתִי אֶת הַסֶּרֶט הָזָה כָּל כָּךְ הַרְבֵּה פְּעָמִים, שֶׁאֲנִי זוֹכֵר כָּל מִלָּה!
(I've seen this movie so many times, that I remember every word (of it)"
-------
So, (אז!) a recap!
"So" and "so much" - כָּל כָּךְ
"so many" - כָּל כָּךְ הַרְבֵּה
Show me that you have it, add your example sentence in comments! (scroll down to the comments!)
